The reunion was wonderful. Everyone seemed to have a good time visiting, catching up and renewing old friendships. I saw many of my classmates I had not seen since we graduated and some 4 or 5 years before that. Paula did an *** job getting this all together. The "OLD TIMERS" were awesome. Thank you guys for all the wonderful music. Dale did a great job as well. I would like to thank Mrs. Cromer for all of her hard work. It was so good to see her again. She is still just as sweet as she ever was. Mrs. Richardson honored us by coming to the reunion and visiting with us. Again I would like to thank everyone for all they did.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to everyone who was able to make some or all of our 30 year reunion activities this past weekend. I think we kept with our goal, to get as many of you to attend as possible and enjoy the limited time that we had. A big appreciation as well to all of those who helped and worked on the reunion, this is truly a labor of love for those that we grew up with, to design a couple of days with a few activities so that we can gather together and catch up with each others lives after so many years. We are so fortunate to have a class that enjoys being with each other. Again thank you. There are pictures available of the reunion with more on the way. Our class website is still going strong, we cannot thank Alana Williams Heng enough for her work, again a labor of love. Please check out the pictures at: http://lhs1980reunion.webevolutionary.com/photo-gallery/65-30-year-reunion- photos.html Dale Walker also provided an outstanding video tribute to the class that we plan to add to the site as well. Thanks to Dale for the great job he did as emcee and building the video, we will let you know once we get it to Alana and have it up on the site. The committee that worked on the reunion events plans to get together in a couple of weeks to wrap up our finances and begin to discuss our next reunion. If you would like to attend, please be with us, or if you would like to submit your opinions, what you did or did not like about the reunion, suggestions on additions, please send it along and we will share it then. Our goal again will be to have as many of you attend as possible, we want to create events that everyone will enjoy and be comfortable, your ideas or likes and dislikes will help us do that. Leave your sentiments to the entire group on the guestbook, I know I would enjoy reading some of your thoughts. You must register/log in to leave comments. I cannot begin to thank everyone by name, but all of you know who you are and how much your efforts were appreciated. None of this would have been a success without the classmates that came together and helped plan and work. We discovered we all enjoyed the process along the way and will miss gathering on a regular basis, a lot of mini reunions! Our lives change by the day in little and big ways and we don't always take advantage of the time we have. I know once we gather again in 2015 or in 2020, there will be many more changes, and yet realize that at our core, we are still the same people that grew up together. My best to all of you my dearest friends and classmates, thanks for how much all of you have meant to my life and helping shape who I am today. I know we always say this, but please stay in touch, a quick email, drop a note on the website, a phone call, take the moment to do so. I will send out another email soon letting you know of our wrap up meeting plan once we have agreed on them. Thanks everyone, Contact Paula Lemons Houston for any questions.

Paula and Class of 1980
I am neck deep in official and unofficial visits the entire month of October/November and unfortunately will not be able to attend. Nevertheless, I wanted to personally send my sincere best to everyone. Paula, when we finalize plans to visit the University of Arkansas, I will contact you, as my son would like to meet Marty if he is available. Warmest Regards, Julie
